We stayed for 1 night en route to another destination & found the room to be very comfortable. The meal that we had was reasonably priced & good quality.

Secure (locked, coded gates) parking. Choice of hotel restaurant or Hippo grill and McDonalds are right next to hotel. Taxi into centre of town takes just 10 minutes. Easy access to N154 and motorway.
Dinner finished serving at 9pm which is a bit early for some people who use the hotel as a stopover from the uk to sw France and beyond. The bar finished and was cleared at 10pm, then the whole of the ground floor Hotel complex was locked and inaccessible to guests until 8am when breakfast was served. Unable to use free Wifi because there was no-one around to ask what user name was valid (hotel had mid-spelled my name). Make sure you check your wireless access name before the staff disappear.

Location
Dinner menu very disappointing - Red wine served ice cold "'because we keep all our wine in the chiller!!"

We have now stayed here several times, the last twice being within a period of 25 days. Our first stay in May was better because of the welcome by the young lady on reception. Our return stay in June was ok but we assume the concierge was a relief cover who was not as "cheery" although he was helpful. The food and cleanliness was fine on both occasions and the power-showers were great.

The hotel was useful as we stopped on our journey to the Dordogne. The staff were friendly, understood our needs and spoke English

A comfortable hotel with secure car park. Ideal location for routes in and out of Chartres. The restaurant is very popular with travellers and locals and the food choice and quality is good.

It is convenient, comfortable, clean and adequately equipped. The food was good and the menu and wine list would cover most tastes. A very pleasant overnight stay.

The bed was comfortable.
The amenities in the room were very poor. The shower was slanted and so the water hit the wall and had to be hand held. The shower door was broken and didn't close properly. The toilet seat was jagged and so uncomfortable. Ther was no kettle for tea or coffee. There was no air conditioning or a fan and on a hot day it was impossible to have the window open as it is like sleeping on the motorway. The bedding smelt musty. The room needs updating.

Staff are always helpful( we have stayed a few times) The hotel is convenient ,when travelling to Spain, for an overnight stop. The food is not gourmet by any standard but it is adequate. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and it is very good value. Will continue to stay there
